Terms of Service
What fwrto is
fwrto is a discovery and booking platform for creative workshops and events in the UAE. Workshops are run by independent studios; fwrto acts as their booking agent. When you book, your agreement for the workshop itself is with the studio — fwrto arranges the booking and collects payment on the studio's behalf.
Paying fwrto settles what you owe the studio for that booking in full. Once your payment completes, the studio cannot ask you for it again. fwrto then passes the studio's share on to them under a separate agreement between fwrto and the studio, which is not your concern and does not affect your booking.
The studio's responsibilities, and ours
The studio is responsible for running the workshop as described — the venue, the materials, the instruction, and the safety of everyone attending. The studio decides who may attend, and any health, age or ability requirements are theirs.
fwrto is responsible for the booking service: listing the workshop accurately as the studio described it, taking your payment securely, confirming your seat, and applying the Refund & Cancellation Policy when a booking changes. fwrto does not run workshops, does not supervise them, and is not present at them.
If something goes wrong at a workshop, tell us — we will help you take it up with the studio and, where the Refund & Cancellation Policy or UAE consumer law entitles you to a refund, we will issue it.
Booking and payment
- Prices are shown in AED. Your seat is confirmed when payment completes.
- Before paying you accept these Terms and the Refund & Cancellation Policy; the version you accepted is recorded with your booking.
- Your name and mobile number are shared with the studio to confirm your spot — that is what the consent checkbox at booking covers.
- Card payments are processed by our payment provider. fwrto never sees or stores your card number.
Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations by you, by the studio, and no-shows are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is part of these Terms. Nothing in these Terms removes a right you have under UAE consumer law.
External bookings
Some listings link out to a studio's own booking page (“Book externally”). Those bookings happen entirely on the studio's site under the studio's terms — these Terms and our refund policy do not apply to them.
Your account
Keep your account to yourself and use the platform honestly. We may suspend accounts used fraudulently or abusively. You can stop using fwrto at any time.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Abu Dhabi have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Changes to these Terms
When we change these Terms we change the version number above. A booking is always governed by the version you accepted when you paid.
Who you are contracting with
fwrto is a brand operated by Jatkaa Limited, a limited liability company registered in the Masdar City Free Zone, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
